Immaculate Baking Co. Appoints New Sales Team Sees Unprecedented Growth in 2002

Hendersonville, NC
Immaculate Baking Company, known for making great-tasting cookies with imaginative flavors and folk art-inspired packaging, has announced the establishment of a new sales team, led by Paul Brim and Kristin Huntley. Brim has been appointed as Director of National Sales, while Huntley will oversee Inside Sales as Customer Service Team Leader.
"Paul comes to us with over 15 years of experience in the food industry, having spent 13 years at General Mills' Sales and Marketing divisions and over 2 years as co-owner of Forge Mountain Foods, a purveyor of gourmet products," says Scott Blackwell, owner and CEO of Immaculate. "Kristin brings to the table over 10 years experience in sales and marketing, having worked with such companies as Anheuser-Busch, Ralston Purina, and AT&T. Their combined experience will help steer our company and keep our customers satisfied as we continue our extraordinary growth."
The appointment of this new sales team comes at the end of a phenomenal year for Immaculate, which has increased gross sales by 150% over 2001. Such strong growth is partially attributable to the company's new 22,000 ft2 facility, built in January 2002, which allowed for a much larger production capacity and room for the acquisition of new equipment. In addition, 2002 saw Immaculate double its workforce and add major national and international accounts such as Whole Foods Market and an export program to Boots stores in the UK. "To maintain our strength beyond a dynamic year like 2002, it was critical to solidify our sales force. The expertise we have brought in will enable us to serve our existing customers more efficiently as well as devise more proactive strategies to build our customer base," says Blackwell. "Paul and Kristin are just the people to do it, and I'm excited about their future with us."
