Immaculate Baking Co. Introduces Special Edition Carton In Celebration of Baking World's Biggest Cookie!
April 25, 2003
Hendersonville, NC
Immaculate Baking Company, known for making award-winning cookies with imaginative flavors and colorful folk art packaging, announces the release of a Special Edition Chocobillys carton to commemorate the achievement of baking the World's Biggest Cookie. These Special Edition Chocobillys are only available for a limited time and are made from the exact same recipe used to create the World's Biggest Cookie (scaled down, of course!).
"We thought a commemorative carton was a great way to celebrate this event," says Blackwell, owner of Immaculate, "We also wanted to give those folks unable to see the big cookie in person a chance to become a part of the event in some way." The Special Edition Chocobillys carton features a painting by American folk artist, Leonard Jones, which colorfully depicts his vision of what the World's Biggest Cookie will look like. The carton also tells about this extraordinary event, including the origins of the idea as well as the reasoning behind it. Proceeds from the World's Biggest Cookie event will benefit the Folk Artist's Foundation (FAF), a not-for-profit organization, founded by Blackwell, which provides encouragement, support, and exposure to artists working in the folk art tradition.
The World's Biggest Cookie will be baked on May 17, 2003 next to the bakery in Hendersonville. The cookie will be sold off in pieces, and all funds raised will go towards the building of the FAF museum that will provide a permanent home for the foundation and its many activities.
