Immaculate's ARTreach Van Hits the Road Bringing Cookies and Folk Art to a Town Near You!!

June 23, 2004
Hendersonville, NC

Immaculate Baking Company, known for making great-tasting cookies with imaginative flavors and folk art-inspired packaging, announces the debut of its very own cookie mobile at the Fancy Food Show in New York this weekend.  The cookie mobile, a 2003 VW Eurovan completely covered in folk art and cookie images, will serve as the backdrop for their booth at the show and will be used for many various Immaculate outreach events.

"We have so much fun traveling around with the cookies and sharing folk art with different people; it only made sense to design a vehicle that could carry our "Cookies With A Cause" message even further." says Scott Blackwell, president and CEO. "This van will play a big part in helping us carry out our social mission of giving back to the greater community."

The converted van is completely covered in images of chocolate chip cookies and various pieces of American Folk Art, a cause Immaculate supports through the Folk Artist's Foundation, the non-profit organization founded by Blackwell. The van's inaugural voyage will begin at the bakery in Flat Rock, NC and end at the Javits Center in New York for the show.
