Immaculate Unveils A Better Cookie For Kids!

Immaculate Baking Company, known for its imaginative cookie flavors and folk art-decorated packaging, has proudly announced its all new line of 100% organic cookies for kids! But, these aren't just any cookies for kids! Created from a super secret recipe painstakingly developed over two years, these three flavors creatively combine a desire to make a better, more nutritious, cookie for kids with the Immaculate, over-the-top flavor that kids all LOVE! The brand new kids' line is made up of Choca Doodle Doos (Chocolate Chip Oatmeal), Hunka Chunka Chocolate (Double-y Chocolate Chip) and Doohickeys (Oatmeal Raisin).

"I set out on a mission to make a better cookie for kids, cookies that have less refined sugar, lower levels of fat and saturated fat, but with the same delicious taste of our regular line of all-natural cookies," says Scott Blackwell, owner of Immaculate and super-talented recipe wizard. "I was also intent on making the line 100% organic to eliminate any concerns that parents might have about the quality of ingredients. As a parent myself, I know how difficult it can be to find good, nutritious snacks for kids; this line of cookies is a trustworthy answer to that dilemma."

In search of a starting point and benchmark for his recipes, Blackwell heard about a recently passed law in California, Senate Bill 19, which regulated the nutritional quality of foods within their school system. As similar laws were quickly adopted in over twelve more states, Blackwell began developing recipes that would exceed these standards, making sure they contained no more than 35% of calories from fat, no more than 10% of calories from saturated fat and were no more than 35% sugar by weight.

"These are true cookies with a conscience," Blackwell says. "They're the only cookies in the country with all of these attributes (100% organic, SB-19 compliant, low in fat, saturated fat, sodium and cholesterol), and I'm proud to say they are super delicious to boot!"

Made with a fruit-blended base comprised primarily of fig, these cookies are pure, chewy chunky goodness. The Choca Doodle Doos are sure to delight with their fresh rolled oats and super-chunky chocolate chips; the Hunka Chunka Chocolate tastes just like fresh brownie batter with its double dose of pure cocoa and gooey chocolate chips, and the Doohickeys round out this delightful trio with a blend of plump, juicy raisins and hearty oatmeal!
