Immaculate Makes New Hires, Increases Production At Bakery

Immaculate Baking Company, known for its imaginative flavors and folk art-decorated packaging, announces record growth for the 3rd quarter, doubling 2005 sales from the same quarter and boosting a dramatic increase in production and staff. The recent growth spurt is attributable to several new key accounts including Target, Costco and JetBlue.

"We've had an exciting couple of months here at the bakery, and we're thrilled to have such great new customers on board" said Founder and CEO, Scott Blackwell.  "The swift rise in sales has caused us to ramp up production at the bakery, promoting people within the company and hiring a new Sales Support Manager."

Immaculate's new Sales Support Manager, Rita Marroquin, comes to Immaculate from Earth Fare, a natural and organic supermarket based in Asheville, NC. At Earth Fare, Rita coordinated in-store events and other activities aimed at boosting store traffic and sales. A native of Austin, TX, Rita also has valuable experience in project management, customer service, and strategic sales and marketing.

"We're thrilled to have Rita join the Immaculate team," said Blackwell. "With her experience in both the natural products and customer service industries, she's a great person to help us meet the needs of our growing sales force as well as those of our consumers."

In addition to new hires, Immaculate has also ramped up production, adding a second shift and at least 8 new employees to help maintain the new pace of production. They've also added new equipment to their production line, specifically a high-speed dough depositor that will greatly increase manufacturing capacity and ensure consistent quality throughout their line of super-delicious organic cookies.
